What is a Living portrait?
A Living Portrait is a cinematic short film capturing the story, personality, and legacy of someone you love.
Each film blends interview-style storytelling, cinematic visuals, and intentional editing to preserve your loved one’s voice and presence for generations to come. -
How does the deposit work?
To reserve your Living portrait, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit.
This deposit confirms your spot and will be credited toward your total project cost -- it’s not an extra fee.
Since we’re in our early launch phase, space is limited and scheduling is handled on a first-come basis. -
Why is the deposit non-refundable?
Each Living Portrait involves dedicated planning, scheduling, and preparation time with our production team.
The non-refundable deposit helps ensure that we can hold your spot and begin coordinating your session right away.
Even though it’s non-refundable, it goes directly toward your final film cost. -
What happens after I pay the deposit?
Once your deposit is complete:
You’ll receive a confirmation email right away.
Within 24 hours, your Legacy Producer will reach out personally to confirm your address and schedule a short introduction call.
You’ll receive our Living Portrait Welcome Kit by mail — a tactile, heartfelt introduction to the process that helps you prepare meaningfully for your film.
-
How is scheduling handled?
We schedule all Living Portrait sessions through an introductory phone or video call.
During this meeting, we’ll:Outline your preferred timeline.
Discuss location, setup, and any accessibility considerations.
Provide a hard fixed schedule for filming and delivery.
You’ll receive a written confirmation of your schedule afterward.
-
Can I gift a Living portrait?

You can purchase the deposit on behalf of someone else — just note the recipient’s name and contact information during checkout. -
